Emily Chung is a Venture Partner of Hooverst Group, overseeing AI Infrastructure projects. She brings 10+ years of strategic leadership in large-scale AI operations, data infrastructure, and business scaling across rapidly evolving technology sectors including AI/ML, Web3, and SaaS.

Emily is hands-on in managing complex data center strategies and AI program development. She has led enterprise-scale initiatives managing $100m+ GPU cluster and data infrastructure development at GMI, and served as Chief of Staff to the CEO office, driving transformational organizational programs in hiring velocity, culture, and executive communication.

At Uber, Emily managed company-wide UberEats Tax Engine AI I initiatives, overseeing pre-training, post-training, and evaluation framework.

Emily is also co-founder of Inferel, a Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform that equips builders with comprehensive AI infrastructure for agentic and batch workloads on a single unified platform. Inferel enables organizations to manufacture datasets through the Data Agent Factory, run optimized workloads through an inference API, and maintain sensitive data on private clusters—providing an end-to-end solution from prototype to production scale.
During her free time, Emily enjoys hiking, running, and traveling.
